Are you an experienced HR professional who loves working with people and improving efficiencies?  We are looking for a hands-on HR leader to help us establish processes around multiple areas, from sales compensation to onboarding, and support as needed around the organization.  If you are enthusiastic about both process and people, you are the person we are searching for!

Title: Human Resources Generalist 

Department: Human Resources (HR)

Reports to: Director of Human Resources and President, U.S.

Normal location: New York, NY

Terms and conditions: Temporary contract (4 months) possibly to Permanent status

Key responsibilities and accountabilities:

  • Refine, document, and establish a full-cycle recruiting process including standardized JD’s, resume screening, establishment and maintenance of recruitment files and records related to the recruitment process

  • Participate in recruitment for key positions in the organization, including conducting interviews, and coaching hiring managers as necessary

  • Create and manage onboarding and offboarding processes, including new hire orientation and exit interviews, processing of new hire paperwork, and verifying I-9 documents through E-Verify

  • Review and refinement of ad sales compensation planning processes 

  • Refine process for annual reviews, including updates to the format and documentation

  • In conjunction with legal counsel - establishment of policies related to scheduled return to the office

Knowledge & experience:

  • 7 - 10 years of human resources experience, with direct experience in the creation and implementation of new policies and procedures

  • Excellent project management, prioritization, and problem-solving skills

  • A bias toward action and an appetite for change in the name of continuous improvement

  • Eagerness to advocate for ideas and opinions

  • Ability to integrate into a fast-paced environment without allowing balls to drop
