Performance Content Executive - Ecommerce

Guardian Media Group (GMG) is a leading global media organisation, the publisher of the Guardian, which celebrates its 200th anniversary in 2021, the Observer and the Guardian.com, which attracts over 200 million global unique browsers each month. We are renowned for our ground-breaking independent journalism and our award-winning digital products.

We are now looking for a Performance Content Executive to join our growing team on a 6 month FTC.

The Guardian is looking to reshape and expand its ecommerce businesses and currently requires a well-rounded Performance Content Executive with strong skills in communications, copywriting, SEO, social media, website analytics platforms (ideally Google Analytics) and digital marketing.

About The Role

  • Assist the Head of Ecommerce and Business Managers to develop and oversee the effective planning, QA and execution of content.
  • Develop and deliver content (email, website, blog) and social media activity for all products.
  • Create content with a focus on audience building and engagement.

About You

  • Understanding of on-site SEO techniques and best practice.
  • Experience using online analytics tools.
  • Experience working in CMS, social media platforms and authoring tools.
